The Catering Kitchen located at 917 commerce street in Portland Texas it is a 2200 sq.ft space with almost every amenity a Professional Chef could want for catering. We are blessed to have such a kitchen to work in. It is in our business plan to Rent the equipment and space to other caterers who might need it for a night or a morning of production work. When We are not using it. The rental Rates Vary on the time period and season but range for $18-24 per hour plus a damage and cleaning deposit . If you are a fellow caterer who needs a commercial kitchen to work out of for that big event please give us a call. We can also offer delivery service and dishware rental as well.

Our catering services focus on specialized menus ranging from Italian influenced coastal cuisine, Cajun, Southwestern, Asian and BBQ paired with service and attention to detail to match VHP catering is the go to caterer for clients who want to impress their guests whether its a birthday pary or wedding catering.
Linda and her Late husband Maurizio , from the Venice region of Italy, opened the Venetian Hot Plate in Port Aransas in 1995 and in the past 20 years have become a go to restaurant for gourmands traveling to the little vacation island.
Chef Mark Pulich a native of Port Aransas has been working in restaurants in every capacity for the past 25 years. Hurricane Katrina blew Mark back to his hometown from New Orleans where he picked up a line cook job at the Venetian in 2005. After the unfortunate loss of Chef Maurizzio in 2006, Mark took over the responsibilities of Executive Chef and has been trying to fill the big shoes left in the kitchen at the Hot Plate for the past 10 years. Mark is still involved in the day to day operations at the Hot Plate while running the catering company.
